Georgia Parent Survey
The Georgia Parent Survey is modeled after the student survey and contains 24 questions. Parents may complete the survey using their personal computer, smartphone or tablet. Parents that do not have access to the Internet may complete the Georgia Parent Survey at school. Parent survey data will be used as part of the calculation of the School Climate Star Rating. Survey responses are anonymous and will be submitted directly to the Georgia Department of Education for analysis. The Georgia Parent Survey is also available in Spanish. Parents may select the Spanish version within the survey. Results from the Georgia Parent Survey will not be available to the public and will not be posted online. Mrs. White has volunteered to be our room parent this year. She will be contacting you throughout the year about all the Lewis events and ways that you too can volunteer. She will be communicating with you through emails as well as send flyers in your child's folder.

Be prepared … Order your child’s Ident-A-Kid card now! A representative from the Ident-A-Kid Child ID Program will be at Lewis Elementary on Friday, September 8th.
The Ident-A-Kid program provides parents with an identification card that has your child’s photograph, fingerprint and vital information on it. The Ident-A-Kid card is designed to provide parents and law enforcement officials with crucial information should your child become lost or missing. Parents keep the card with them at all times and, in an emergency, can provide it to law enforcement for immediate response. In addition, the United States Government’s Social Security Administration recognizes the Ident-A-Kid Card. It may be usable in supporting either secondary or third level identification, should it be needed. Look for information coming home in your child’s backpack soon!
